Red Ribbon Week
Amplify assists the St. Tammany Parish Schools with their Red Ribbon Week celebrations.
Over 30,000 red wristbands are given to elementary and middle school students as well as posters and bulletin boards for each school.
Red Ribbon Week is celebrated at the end of October each year. It began as a memorial for fallen DEA agent Enrique Camerena, who was killed in the line of duty while fighting the Mexican drug cartel.
